Is Cabo Expeditions expensive?

Cabo Expeditions is very affordable. Our prices per activity or tour will vary depending on the type of tour requested. However, we also provide private, exclusive VIP tours as well. We offer numerous quality activities with exceptional service and, at the most affordable price. We do not like to call our tours or activities, tours and activities. We prefer to call them “experiences.”

Why has Cabo Expeditions been so successful for over 15 years?

Our innovation at Cabo Expeditions is unheralded. Cabo Expeditions provides Intimate Whale Watching tours on Zodiac boats where you can actually hear the whales sing as we drop specifically-designed microphones below the water. Additionally, we offer underwater-walking tours on the bottom of the ocean floor (only about 20 feet deep) called the Sea Trek; SNUBA tours which allow for a tame semi-SCUBA diving and snorkel experience, parasailing, a 2-bay snorkel excursion, a clear-bottom kayak excursion with snorkeling, and also guided and chauffeur-driven city tours.

Within only the last year 3 years, new adventures such as Swimming with Whale Sharks, a multi-day island hopping excursion in the Sea of Cortez, and a multi-day Whales of Baja expedition have allowed the company to soar to new heights.

Is Cabo Expeditions family-friendly?

Cabo Expeditions is one of the most family-friendly eco-tour companies in Mexico. Our Cabo tours range from complete city tours to aquatic activities to actual expeditions which are perfect for the entire family. In fact, majority of our adventures have a minimum age limit of five years old. Other activities such as Sea Trek and SNUBA, which require slightly more advanced swimming skill sets, are provided with minimum ages of seven.

We encourage family activities at Cabo Expeditions and have been voted by families as the #1 Whale Watching Company for 12 consecutive years.

About Sea Trek

Helmet diving dates back to the early 1800′s and two Englishmen, Charles and John Deane. Originally conceived for the commercial market, it took until 1998 and Sub Sea Systems, with its expertise in dive systems, submersible fabrication and marine technology, to design and build an extremely safe and comprehensive helmet system for the recreation-minded public. Sub Sea Systems’ goal in developing Sea Trek was to create a product that would allow practically anyone to comfortably explore beneath the sea, regardless of swimming skill or physical ability.

The Sea Trek system has been engineered for comfort, safety and reliability. The helmet is ergonomically designed using advanced CAD programming to be comfortable and fit the broadest variety of head sizes. With its fail-safe microprocessor-controlled air delivery system and raised walkway system teaming with exotic marine life, SeaTrek is one of the fastest growing underwater tourist attractions in the world.

What is SNUBA?

SNUBA® diving is safe family fun, and it’s easy to learn. No prior snorkeling or diving experience is required. After a 15-20 minute orientation, your Snuba and Cabo Expeditions Guide will accompany you on an underwater tour of a beautiful marine environment chosen for maximum entertainment and safety. Snuba Guides are trained professionals at Cabo Expeditions whose primary goal is to ensure that you safely enjoy a fantastic underwater adventure at your level of comfort.

SNUBA was created for those who enjoy the simplicity of snorkeling and would like to experience the wonders of breathing underwater. Snuba is a unique, patented shallow water diving system, bridging the gap between snorkeling and scuba diving.

SNUBA is safe and easy and does not require certification. Even if you have never snorkeled or have only basic swimming skills, SNUBA diving is available for you. SNUBA is easily accessible to couples, families, children eight years and older, and seniors.

SNUBA divers breathe underwater by means of a 20 foot air hose which is connected to a standard scuba tank. The tank is mounted on a raft on the surface that follows your every movement. The air hose allows you to tour underwater near the bottom, at mid-water or on the surface depending on your level of comfort. There is no heavy diving gear. Every SNUBA tour is guided by a diving professional. Your guide will familiarize you with the SNUBA equipment you will be using and briefly describe what you can expect in the water.

You will start in shallow water and take whatever time necessary to get comfortable breathing underwater. Once comfortable, you are then taken on a guided underwater tour. During the dive you are never more than 20 feet from the security of the raft floating on the surface.

Cabo Expeditions has perfected the art of SNUBA in Cabo San Lucas and guests love it.
